John Gross Trio Featuring Bill Coon

John has been playing with the greats of the Jazz and entertainment world since 1961. Bill Coon was the recipient of the 2009 National Jazz Awards, Guitarist of the Year. This extensive list includes Harry James, Stan Kenton, Johnny Mathis, Lionel Hampton, Shelly Manne, Toshiko Akioshi, , Stevie Wonder, Hugh Fraser, and many others. He has been featured at the Coastal Jazz Festival many times and has been a welcome addition to the Vancouver Jazz scene since 2016. He is a unique and masterful musician who loves to play songs that are beautiful and interesting.
